Body of Wat(her)

She moves, as water moves.

She flows, as water flows.

She collects and releases energy.

She explores her body as it transforms to a liquid state.

Initially the transformation weakens her, softens her, and amplifies her delicate side.

As she allows the physical state of water to overcome her body, she finds the incredible strength and power that pushes the confinement of the enclosed container space.

She has become the water and is ready and fluid enough to invite and channel change.

A tidal force.

Body of Wat(Her) is a 45 minute improv-based performance art installation which was made in collaboration with visual artists Joy and Rose Broadbent (Broadbent Sisters) for Nuit Blanche 2019 at the stackt market in Toronto.
